The Chicago Cubs hope that Anthony Rizzo will become a star in the MLB. They have finalized a seven year $41 million dollar extension with a club option in 2020 and 21.

Rizzo with a lifetime .253/.331/.434 career batting line has to find a way to figure out the major league pitchers. The Cubs brass are banking on the 23 year old kid in hopes they retrieve their monies worth.
Great with the glove at 1st base will by some time until he start building on his .891 OPS, nine home runs and 28 RBI in 37 games this year.
