2013 NFL Season will start Thursday Night and I am Ready for some football!
My stab at a Non-PPR league that I hope is a building block of a championship season. I had the first pick in my PPR league and was hoping for a mid round pick, like maybe fifth or sixth. Nah! I got tenth!
Here is how it worked out!
1. I took the best running back on the board at the time Alfred Morris. A solid choice and IF RGIII is healthy and will trust his running back and let him take all of the hits while giving him the ball he may have a good season. His rookie year was outstanding I would like more of the same.
2. I have my faith in the o-line of the Tennessee Titans and believe I stole Chris Johnson in the early second round.
3. This pick went similar to my PPR league and took Randall Cobb. Once again if the quarterback can stay upright and healthy I believe he will see many targets.
4. Being a very competitive league I stretched out because the quarterbacks were dropping fast I took my running QB Cam Newton. Pro Bowl Season?
5. It got ugly from here and I took Antonio Brown realizing that Ben Rothleisberger needs to make him the main target in Pittsburg if they have any chance to win.
The rest fell as it did as teams took chances as well as I did in the draft.
Jordan Cameron was a late target for ma and was happy to get him. His new offense will help him excel if ex Oklahoma State Cowboy Brandon Weeden can get him the ball.
The New England Patriots will have an easy first three games and I will look to see what happens to see if I look to trade or hunt the waiver wire.
Feel free to grade my draft in the comments.
