Basketball Babe #7 Dwight Howard Houston Rockets New Center Commits to Sign an $88 Million Dollar Contacts Plus...

Dwight Howard

The Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Websites and Blogs have there fuel to start the courtship of Dwight Howard and the Houston Rockets. The much heralded and sought after NBA All-star found a home in Houston. The home may be more affordable for him than most with a reported possible $88 Million Dollar contact with an early termination option after the 2015-16 season and a 15 percent trade kicker.

For the teams in the hunt for the seven time all-star it was a waiting game with pieces for each to have to move to make room for the 27 year old center. The Dallas Mavericks thought they had a shot to add him next to Dirk Nowitzki, Golden State Warriors had a plan to put with Stephen Curry and newly acquired Andre Iguodala, Josh Smith of the Atlanta Hawks would have loved to have D12 down in the post, the Los Angeles Lakers is wondering if  Kobe Bryant thinks "I Got This"!

So, the Rockets get their man and no one is happier than G/F James Harden!

Basketball Babe #4 Derrick Rose Chicago Bulls near $200 Million Adidas Shoe Deal

NBA All Star Derrick Rose and Reigning MVP signed a monumental basketball shoe deal with Adidas worth what could climb to a whopping $200M with incentives.
The signed deal is a 13 year deal with Adidas and guaranteed for $185M and with incentives could reach $200-$250M total!
The Chicago Bulls and the NBA might like the softening of the blow to the salary cap and increased player salaries. His last extension with the Bulls was only $94 over 5 years.
We will see lots more ads like these for the Adidas folks get their monies worth!
Throw in few commercials on TV for more of the 13 to 40 age group demographics!

Adidas should have signed him while coming out of a Memphis Tigers uniform they may have saved some $$$M?

or maybe high school at Simeon (Maybe the NCAA would balk on that one)?

I wonder if Dwight Howard or Ken Jeong "Slim Chin" will want a cut?
