Baseball Babe #114 Honors: SP Clayton Kershaw LA Dodgers Home Run and Shut Out MLB Opening Day Baseball

The opening day start of the season for the Los Angeles Dodgers might cost them millions in free agency?
Clayton Kershaw will be a $200Million player?
Clayton Kershaw showed that Magic Johnson & Company needs to take notice of the talent in his arm and his bat and open the pocketbooks.
It must have been a sign when Magic Johnson let the legend Sandy Koufax throw out the ceremonial first pitch!

Clayton Kershaw became the first pitcher to throw a shutout and hit a home run since Bob Lemon for Cleveland Indians did it in an opener in 1953.

His electric arm was winning the defense battle, then in the eighth inning he decided to take the offense into his own hands and belted a home run to straightaway center for the lead and eventual opening day win over the reigning World Series Champions San Francisco Giants 4-0.
