It was a nice day for baseball to open up Dr. Pepper Ballpark in Frisco. Sunny with a nice breeze that helped the Express pound a 10-2 win over the RoughRiders.
Doug Deeds of Round Rock did most of the pounding going 3-5 with a pair of homers! With five homers by Round Rock in the Game. One out of the parker come from the ex-ranger catcher Tyler Teagarden. Chad Tracy brought his stick also and sent the head of the pitcher look like a bobblehead, first up then down! The fifth homer was by another ex-ranger and fan favorite Chris "crash" Davis.
Frisco did not hit a homerun but a nice triple by on of the stars on the Frisco RoughRiders ex-Texas Ranger Engel Beltre.
This meeting was one of two the next will be played at Round Rock to put a fun start to the season!
As a season ticket holder of the Frisco RoughRiders I am looking forward to seeing the boys start the season!
