Texas Rangers Beat Boston Red Sox
What can we say about the Rangers leading off a game with homerun, at home, on opening day by the star 2nd baseman, Ian Kinsler! He wasn't the only Ranger to hit a homerun on opening day! Mike Napoli and Nelson Cruz also made the fireworks light up Arlington.
The Red Sox have a potent offense with newly added Adrian Gonzalez and Carl Crawford and healthy Jacob Ellsbury, Dustin Pedroia and Kevin Youkilis sitting back and taking a beating was not and option! Ellsbury and A-Gone did their part with a couple hits each, but the lonely big bopper was Big Papi David Ortiz and his solo homerun.
Then the Antlers and Claws came out to add the magic.
The Rangers came back to go ahead with a David Murphy double that clipped the left field chalk line causing a cloud of dust. The hit scored Mike Naploli and Yorvit Torrealba helped the inning expode and go on for the eventual win!
