Is the fifth spot in the Cleveland Indians rotation filled?
The live arm of Jeanmar Gomez is giving his best fight to win the last spot on the starting rotation. As of 3.19.2012 Gomez has been scoreless in spring training.
The fight on Monday was against the great Los Angeles Dodgers starter Clayton Kershaw which Kershaw allowed a run and Gomez didn't while striking out three and only a one hit allowed in four innings winning that battle and maybe turning heads in the Indians front office.
So far this season in 11 spring innings Jeanmar has not allowed a run!
I guess this puffy faced pitcher has it going for him!
